Jocelyn Snyder
Jocelyn Snyder is the founder of Prepared Environment Consulting. She has worked with children for over 20 years and is a lifelong Montessori kid herself, having attended Homewood Montessori in Pittsburgh, PA. Jocelyn studied under Judith Orion and Karey Lontz at The Montessori Institute in Denver, Colorado, and holds her Assistant to Infancy Montessori Certification through The Association Montessori Internationale, bringing that deep training into the homes of modern families.
Through Prepared Environment Consulting, Jocelyn helps families implement Montessori in their everyday spaces so children can move, play, and grow with more calm and independence. She is committed to working with all types of families and all incomes, offering a sliding scale and inviting anyone who is curious to reach out. Jocelyn is also a parent of a young child and, when she’s not thinking about Montessori or what to cook for dinner, she enjoys improv comedy as a creative outlet.
